A girl I work with calls Valentine's Day "Single's Awareness Day"; I've never cared about being single on Valentine's Day. Really, I've never had a Valentine on Valentine's Day and it's never really bothered me (which is probably good as my singleness does not seem to be ending any time soon).
There is one question that keeps smacking my in the face when I see people stress about being single on Valentine's Day: why do women fall for guys that don't share our feelings.
I'm sure this happens to men too, it just seems like it's a problem that is predominantly female. We get deeply into our crushes and the object of our affections has no idea that we exist as a woman.
